Darn Cats

Cats seem to get it all, so it is no surprise that the tyrants want to control them. Colac Otway Shire staff,   in  a move which suggests they are just following like sheep want to change the law so our cats cannot go outside at all -- apparently that's what happens in the city. 
Currently here in a country town they are locked up inside at night and that's fine. 
A review of how these colonists should fit into the new worlds is fine too .
Cats  of course have there roots in the Savanah too ----- much more than we do !.and its now our disaster death prone home too ( 6mths growing season ) 
And its no use,  if you want nature to rule , to stop them killing things because,  as we all agree -- its not always nice . We at least can choose to be nice and  cull instead of letting  nature in the Savannah take life by starving it. 

What they and the neighboring kids will miss if the legal control merchants get their way is the chance to stop sit down and pat them.   They do it so well in our street , they have a regular audience.
A cat unable to sit in the sun too sounds like a death sentence to one of Gods clearly proclaimed custodians. 
We don't know what all the birds think, but many do not care as they occupy the flower bushes and orchard trees in spite of them , neither animal laughs so we can only imagine their conversations ; Lots of ha ha ha;s  i am sure
What we do know is that the cats think they should be rewarded for giving us the job of burying the awefully dead ones they bring to our door . Yes they may get a few, ( they prefer the palace diet they get inside )  so all they do in our backyard is scare a few lower ones as nest boxes are unreachable and the birds get all our cherries if we don't net the tree .
